2015 Honda Livo - First Look

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India( HMSI) have launched yet another bike in the highly competitive commuter segment. The Livo is the company’s 9th of the 15 launches it has promised this year, and replaces the recently-discontinued CB Twister in its line-up.

2015 Honda Livo India Launch

The Livo is powered by a 109.19 cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine that develops 8.25 bhp @ 7500 rpm and has a torque output of 8.63 Nm @ 5500 rpm. This engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The bike gets HET (Honda Eco Technology) treatment to deliver good fuel economy. The company claims that the bike will deliver about 75 kmpl. However, the real world mileage will obviously differ from the claimed mileage. The Livo has the longest wheelbase in its class, which should help in improved stability.

The Livo is not short on features. It is equipped with electric start and black alloy wheels as standard. A front disc brake variant is also available. However, the Livo gets only an analogue instrument cluster. The bike will be available in 4 paint jobs- Blue, Brown, White and Black. At first glance, the Livo looks quite similar to the CB Unicorn 160 which not a bad thing.

The Honda Livo is priced at Rs. 52,989 for the Drum variant and Rs. 55,489 for the Disc variant (Both ex-showroom Delhi). Stay tuned to ChooseMyBike.in for our full-fledged review of this interesting little commuter!
