After unveiling the all new Access 125 scooter at the Delhi Auto expo, Suzuki has officially launched the scooter in India. The Access 125 is the company’s flagship scooter for the Indian market. The company has positioned the Access 125 as a lifestyle product for all ages.
The 2016 Access 125 can be regarded as an all-new product. The scooter gets an all new, more stable, light weight frame. The company believes that the new frame will help in improving mileage, straight line stability and cornering stability. Suzuki has also tweaked the suspension to improve rider comfort while riding over rough patches of road. The scooter gets attractive alloy wheels and optional front disc brakes. The Access 125 has shed about 10 Kgs and now weighs only 102 Kg. Suzuki has achieved this weight reduction by using a light weight frame and by reducing the fuel tank capacity from 6 litres to 5.6 litres.
The Suzuki Access 125 is powered by a 124cc, single cylinder, air cooled engine that develops a peak power of 8.6 bhp at 7000 rpm and has a peak torque output of 10.2 Nm at 5000 rpm.
The Access 125 is loaded with exciting new features. The company claims that the scooter will have the largest seat in the segment and will also have the largest under-seat storage space. The scooter will also feature Suzuki’s Easy Start System. Other interesting features on offer include DC charging socket (Optional), Digital Instrument cluster with service indicator and a large floorboard.
The new Access 125 looks premium and is well equipped with useful features. The scooter is priced at Rs. 53,887 (Ex-showroom Delhi) and is available at all dealerships across the country. Stay tuned for a full-fledged review,
