British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph and Castrol India have reached an agreement that will see Castrol India, the peninsula’s largest engine oil and lubricant maker supply their fully-synthetic Castrol Power1 engine oil to all Triumph motorcycle dealerships in India.
Also, Castrol India will be providing their technological support by co-developing engine oils for future Triumph models, besides assisting the performance motorcycle brand in marketing strategies and promotional activities.
On this momentous occasion, Mr. Vimal Sumbly, the Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India Private Limited, said “We are extremely pleased to have tied up with Castrol, one of the leading brands for motorcycle lubricants. Triumph Motorcycles is committed to providing a complete riding experience and this tie up will further enhance the commitment that Triumph has brought to India.”
Mr. Ravi Kirpalani, MD of Castrol India, said, “We are delighted to lend our technical and marketing support to Triumph as they bring their exciting range of motorcycles to India. We will work closely with Triumph to develop and supply the latest technology products as they expand their footprint in the country."
Castrol and Triumph have reached a global partnership in their attempt to break the record for the motorcycle land speed record with their high-tech motorcycle, the Hot Rod Conspiracy/Carpenter Racing Castrol Rocket. The motorcycle is a 1,000 horsepower with precise aerodynamic design and expects to touch a massive 400mph.
