It’s designed to traverse rugged terrains, with features such as a long travel telescopic front suspension, a gas-charged mono-shock at the rear, a high ground clearance of 245 mm, a high-mounted exhaust that helps when riding through deep streams, and spoke wheels shod with off-road tyres. The Impulse is powered by a 149cc air-cooled single cylinder engine that develops 13 bhp and 13.4 Nm of torque. Standard equipment list includes a front disc brake and a digital/analogue speedo console. 
 
The Hero Impulse does not have any direct rival, but competes with the premium 150cc and above bikes, such as the Yamaha FZ-S, TVS Apache RTR 180, and the Bajaj Pulsar 180.

Bikes such as the Bajaj Pulsar 220F pose as direct competition to the Hero Karizma.

The ZMR uses Honda’s PGM-Fi (Programmed Fuel Injection) technology, which improves the throttle response, and offers a consistent mileage. The bike is equipped with standard features such as an aerodynamic full-body fairing, an electric starter, a multi-functional digital speedometer, LED tail lights, front and rear disc brakes, alloy wheels, and tubeless tyres.
 
 The Karizma ZMR rivals bikes such as the Pulsar 200 NS, Honda CBR 150R, and the Yamaha R15.
 
Usage – The Karizma ZMR can be used for both commuting and for long distance touring.
 
 
 
With a product line-up that is comprised mainly of sub-125cc bikes, and the biggest service network in the country, it is easy to see why Hero MotoCorp is the biggest two-wheeler manufacturer in India, but with rivals Bajaj and Honda closing in on the top spot with new and more innovative products, Hero needs to work harder to maintain its No.1 ranking.
