Mahindra 2Wheelers, who only recently kick-started their journey in the Indian two-wheeler market, are now looking to further strengthen their position with four new launches in this calendar year. The bevy of launches is expected to include the Mojo performance bike, a new scooter, a new version of the Centuro, and a 150cc commuter.
The company revealed the exquisite 300cc Mojo at the 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi earlier this year, along with two concept bikes in the form of the Mahindra Café racer, the Mahindra jcMoto and a variant of the Centuro. Complete details regarding the launches have been kept under wraps, but we expect them to start by next month.
Mahindra now have around 1500 touch points all over the country, compared to the 600 last year. This should help them in generating higher volume of sales, while keeping customers satisfied with better service access. The company is also looking to expand internationally into four more countries with special focus on the Nigerian and Colombian markets. The company also aspires to triple their profits by increasing exports.
Mahindra has clearly outlined their goals for this financial year. While they admitted last year was a period of stability and was relatively dull, the company is looking to come out in full force, and expand on all fronts this year.
