Italian Superbike manufacturer MV Agusta will officially enter the Indian market in November 2015 with aid from Pune-based Kinetic group. This group will also take care of after-sales service, which makes ownership experience a tad easier.
The MV Agusta will go head-to-head with its compatriot brand Ducati, which also entered the market only recently. The MV Agusta bikes are expected to be introduced in phases. Initially, only a few bikes will be launched, while the entire line-up will eventually follow in the coming years. MV Agusta plans to locally assemble some of its bikes using the SKD (Semi-Knocked down) route, while most of its bikes will be brought in via CBU (Completely Built Unit) route.
MV Agusta has an exciting line-up of bikes with different configurations to suit an individual’s personal requirements. Some of the popular models from the company include the Brutale series, the Rivale 800, the Stradale, the Turismo Veloce, the F3 and the flagship F4.
Kinetic group plans to set up showrooms in top cities across the country. Prices for the bikes are not confirmed but are expected to begin at Rs. 12 lakhs and go all the way up to 33 lakhs. Exciting times are ahead for motorcycle enthusiasts.
