Honda sells 1 lakh units of CB Unicorn 160 in 8 months!

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) launched the Honda CB Unicorn 160 in December 2014. Since then, the bike experienced good response from consumers. In July 2015, the bike crossed the 1 lakh mark in terms of sales. Maharashtra was the most popular market for the CB Unicorn followed by Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

2015 Honda CB Unicorn

The CB Unicorn 160 is powered by a 163 cc, air-cooled petrol engine that develops 14.5 bhp @ 8000 rpm and has a torque output of 14.61 Nm @ 6000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed sequential gearbox. The bike provides the right balance between performance and fuel efficiency. The CB Unicorn 160 has a claimed mileage of 62 kmpl.

Notable features on the CB Unicorn 160 include HET (Honda Eco Technology), which helps improve fuel efficiency, front disc brake, digital instrument cluster, 17-inch alloy wheels and CBS( Combi Brake System). The bike is available in 3 colours.

The Honda CB Unicorn is priced competitively at Rs. 72,412 (Ex-showroom Delhi) for the base model and Rs. 77,668 (Ex-showroom Delhi) for the CBS model.
