The e-commerce has experience unprecedented growth in India. We can literally purchase nearly anything online these days. Therefore, it is not surprising to see that two wheelers have entered this space as well, as online platforms have wider reach than on-ground showroom visits. A while ago, Hero Motocorp tied-up with online e-tailer Snapdeal to allow people to book some of their scooters and bikes online. Now, Piaggio has joined them too, allowing prospective customers to book their new Vespa scooters online.
The entire Vespa line-up can be viewed and booked online. One can browse and decide on the variant and colours on the product page. You can also download the product brochure if needed. It costs Rs. 5000 to book a Vespa online. The Rs. 5000 will be deducted from the final on-road price. Once the scooter is booked, the money will not be refunded upon cancellation. The documentation and payment of balance will be done at the allocated dealership.Once the booking is done, the vehicle will be available either on the same day or 2-5 days based on the inventory. The first 100 customers will receive Rs.2000 Snapdeal credits. The Snapdeal credits will be credited within 30 days of completion of purchase by the customer.
