Rossi signs 2 year extension with Yamaha


Nine time world champion Valentino Rossi has signed a two-year extension with Yamaha. The Italian, who used to ride for Ducati, returned to Yamaha in 2013. The extension shows Yamaha’s faith in the “Doctor” to be a serious contender for the 2016 MotoGP crown and following seasons. Rossi rides the YZF-M1 for Yamaha Movistar. Rossi feels very good about his decision to remain with Yamaha for two more years. The Italian marquee racer is very thankful for all the support he is receiving from his team. The also thanked his loyal fans who supported him throughout his MotoGP career.

Knowing that Rossi is going to remain with Yamaha at the start of the 2016 MotoGP season is great news for fans of Yamaha Movistar. In the recently held Qatar Grand Prix, Valentino Rossi came fourth behind Winner Jorge Lorenzo, Second placed Andrea Dovizioso and Third placed Marc Marquez.
