Suzuki Motorcycle India launched the Lets scooter last year hoping to capture the attention of the younger generation of riders. But reality hit Suzuki hard as the Lets did not receive the response expected. Suzuki’s older Access and Swish are doing much better in terms of units sold, which is rather disappointing for the company. Now, Suzuki hopes to add some much needed appeal to its stylish scooter by making it available with dual-tone paintjobs. Yamaha motorcycles also came with the same strategy for the Alpha recently.
With the festive season approaching fast, this looks like a good move by Suzuki to attract a wider audience. The Lets is available in dual-tone paintjobs with attractive graphics. The changes to Lets are strictly cosmetic. The powertrain remains the same. The Lets will continue to be powered by the same 113 cc, air-cooled engine that develops a peak power of 8.7 bhp @ 7500 rpm and has a torque output of 9 Nm @ 6500 rpm.
The face-lifted Lets is priced at Rs. 50,600 (On-road Delhi) and is now available in showrooms across the country.
