Japanese manufacturer Suzuki Motors has lifted the covers off the 2015 GSR250F, the fully-faired bike sibling to the GW250S Inazuma. By the looks of it, it is pretty clear that the bike is designed to be a sport-touring machine.

The GSR250F does have a few modifications over the Inazuma – it gets slightly higher handlebars and rear-set foot pegs, and a full-fairing to help battle windblast. All these touches should bode very well for touring. Engine-wise, it isn’t any different from its naked twin, employing the same liquid-cooled 248cc parallel twin-cylinder engine that generates 25.6 bhp of power. Telescopic suspensions at the front and a seven-way adjustable monoshock at the rear supporting a semi-double cradle chassis frame complete the bike. The fairing however has increased the weight significantly from 186 kg to 192 kg.
The Suzuki GSR250F will be launched in Japan on September 18th and will cost Japanese bike lovers 5,14,080 Yen (roughly INR 2.96 lakhs) and will be available in the following colours - Pearl Nebular Black and Triton Blue Metallic/Pearl Glacier White.
After the debacle that was the Inazuma, it would suffice to say that launching the GSR250F in India would be the last thing on Suzuki’s mind. Would you want the Suzuki GSR250F to be sold in India? Let us know why in the comments section below.
