So, we have made a list of the lightest scooters in India. We will start with number five.

The number 5 slot is occupied by a relatively new entrant to the premium scooter segment-the Yamaha Fascino. This trendy scooter weighs 103 Kg. The Activa-I gets a slight edge over the Fascino as it feels less bulky and more nimble on the road. The Activa-i is equipped with a 109cc engine that churns a peak power of 8 bhp at 7500 rpm and has a peak torque output of 8.74 Nm at 5500 rpm. The Activa-i has a claimed mileage of 60 kmpl.

The Lets has a claimed mileage of 63 kmpl which is reasonably high for a scooter in this segment.

The lightest scooter in India is the Scooty Pep Plus. This stylish scooter is primarily targeted at women riders. Being a TVS, there are plenty of colour options on offer. The Pep Plus is not very powerful. It is equipped with a 87cc engine that develops a peak power of 5 bhp at 6500 rpm and has a peak torque output of 5.8 Nm at 4000 rpm.
