Bajaj Avenger Street 220 Features and Overview

The 2016 Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is the company’s flagship cruiser for the Indian market. Launched in 2015, the new Avenger gets plenty of cosmetic upgrades to make it look unique and attractive.

The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 mileage is about 49 kmpl. The bike is available in black colour. The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 price as of February 2016 is Rs.84,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).

The Street 220 is devoid of chrome and has a grab rail in place of the back rest. It also gets a lower, flatter handlebar and a matt black/brushed silver finished paint job. In typical cruiser fashion, the seat is set low and the foot pegs are set far ahead. The Street 220 aims to offer a laid back, relaxed cruising experience in the city and in the highways.

The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is equipped with a 219 cc, oil-cooled engine that develops a peak power of 19.03 bhp at 8400 rpm and has a peak torque output of 17.5 Nm at 7000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.

The Bajaj Avenger is equipped with telescopic front forks and inverted and hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. The suspension system does a commendable job in tackling road bumps.

The Bajaj Avenger is equipped with disc brakes at the front and drum brake at the rear.

The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is an ideal bike for those looking for a comfortable bike to ride in the city and also on the highways. Stay tuned for the Avenger Street 220 review.
