Hero Ignitor Features and Overview

The 2016 Hero Ignitor is the latest mid-segment commuter bike launched by Hero MotoCorp. It is powered by a 125cc engine that employs Heros Advanced Tumble Flow Induction Technology (ATFT) for improved mileage. It comes equipped with features such as an electric starter, aerodynamic front half-fairing, digital/analogue speedo console, sports-style spilt seats, alloy wheels, adjustable rear-suspension, and an optional front disc brake.

The 2016 Hero Ignitor mileage is around 60 kmpl. The bike is available in Pearl White, Sports Red, Vibrant Blue and Panther Black colours. The Hero Ignitor Price as of January 2016 is Rs.60,500(ex-showroom, Delhi)

The Hero Ignitor is targeted at a younger generation of buyers, and hence incorporates trendy styling elements, like the half-fairing and the split seat, in its design. The bike offers the rider an upright riding position which minimises stress applied on the lower back and wrists, thereby improving comfort while riding for extended durations.

The Hero Ignitor is powered by an air-cooled single cylinder 124.7cc engine that produces 11 bhp @ 8000 rpm and 11 Nm of torque @ 5000 rpm. A 5-speed constant mesh gearbox is used to channel power to the rear wheel

The Hero Ignitor is equipped with telescopic front forks and a pair of adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear.

The Hero Ignitor employs a drum brake at the front, and a 130mm drum brake at the rear.

Those whose commute exceeds 50 kms a day, and includes occasional highway riding, should check out the Hero Ignitor. Read the Hero Ignitor Review in the section below.
