Hero Maestro Features and Overview

The 2016 Hero Maestro is a premium scooter from Hero Motocorp that is directed at younger audience. The Hero Maestro is loaded with features like Combi-Brake system and Digital instrument cluster. This 110 cc scooter delivers a claimed mileage of 60 Kmpl.

The 2016 Hero Maestro's mileage is about 60kmpl. It comes in six colours, Panther Black, Blazing Red, Electric Blue, Harvest Green, Force Silver and Pearl White. The Hero Meastro price as of January 2016 is Rs. 48,050 (Ex-showroom Delhi)

The Hero Maestro employs a step-thru body style, which simplifies getting astride the seat and off it. The ergonomics offered is that of a typical scooter, with a feet-forward upright riding seating posture.

The Hero Maestro is powered by a 109cc air-cooled single cylinder engine that outputs 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 9 Nm torque @ 5500 rpm. The scooter employs an automatic continuously variable transmission, which makes it easy to ride.

The Maestro uses a trailing link suspension system at the front end, and a hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. A unique feature of the trailing link suspension system is its anti-dive characteristics. When the front brake is applied, the front end doesn t dive, which improves stability and control

The Maestro comes fitted with 130mm drum brakes on the front and rear wheels. The scooter is equipped with a Combi-Brake System (CBS) where both brakes are actuated even if only the rear brake lever is pulled. Using both brakes simultaneously shortens the distance required to come to a halt considerably, when compared to using either brake individually.

Those looking for a scooter for commuting short distances (lesser than 30 kms per day) within the city, and those who are new to riding a motorized two wheeler, should go for the Hero Maestro. Check out the Hero Meastro review in the section below.
