Hero Splendor Plus Features and Overview

The 2016 Hero Splendor Plus is one of the entry-level commuter bikes from Hero MotoCorp. The bike is powered by an air-cooled single-cylinder 100cc engine that is one of the most fuel-efficient in the segment. It comes with improved suspension, and a rear carrier as standard, with features like electric start and alloy wheels available as optional extras.

The 2016 Hero Splendor Plus mileage is about 80.6 kmpl. The Splendor Plus's price as of January 2016 is Rs.45,850(ex-showroom, Delhi), and is available in black/purple, black/silver, red, silver and blue shades.

The Splendor Plus commuter bike is targeted at the mass market, and is therefore styled conservatively, with clean lines and minimal graphics that would appeal to varied tastes. The bike offers the rider a typical commuter-style upright riding position, with wide handlebars and middle-set foot pegs, which minimises stress applied on the lower back and wrists, thereby improving comfort while riding for extended durations

The Hero Splendor Plus is powered by an air-cooled 97cc single cylinder engine that produces 7.4 bhp and 7.95 Nm of torque, and employs a 4-speed gearbox to transfer power to the rear wheel.

The Splendor Plus is equipped with telescopic front forks and a pair of hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear end.

The Hero Splendor Plus employs a 130mm drum brake at the front, and a 110mm drum brake at the rear.

Those looking for a bike primarily for commuting short distances (less than 40 kms per day) within the city can opt for the Hero Splendor Plus. Check out the Hero Splendor Plus review below.

This bike is one of the reliable bike in the market. As far as i know this is the one bike which delivers best mileage in India. Spares and accessories are also so cheap as well as the initial bike price. If we fill full tank of fuel, we can forget about re-fueling for atleast a week. We cant expect more performance or anything from this bike. Main negative is the vibration it produce.
