Hero Splendor Pro Features and Overview

The 2016 Hero Splendor Pro is one of the entry-level commuter bikes from Hero MotoCorp. The bike is powered by an air-cooled single-cylinder 100cc engine that is one of the most fuel-efficient in the segment. The bike comes with improved suspension, new body graphics, and a new speed speedo console, with features like electric start and alloy wheels available as optional extras.

The 2016 Hero Splendor Pro mileage is about 90 kmpl. The bike is available in black/purple, black/white, silver, red, grey, maroon and blue shades. The Heo Splendor Pro price as of January 2016 is Rs.50,100(ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Hero Splendor Pro is targeted at the mass market, and is therefore styled conservatively, with clean lines and minimal graphics that would appeal to varied tastes. The bike offers the rider a typical commuter-style upright riding position, with wide handlebars and middle-set foot pegs, which minimises stress applied on the lower back and wrists, thereby improving comfort while riding for extended durations

The Hero Splendor Pro is powered by an air-cooled 97cc single cylinder engine that produces 7.4 bhp and 7.95 Nm of torque, and employs a 4-speed gearbox to transfer power to the rear wheel.

The Hero Splendor Pro is equipped with telescopic front forks and a pair of hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear end.

The Hero Splendor Pro employs a 130mm drum brake at the front, and a 110mm drum brake at the rear.

Those looking for a bike primarily for commuting short distances (less than 40 kms per day) within the city can opt for the Hero Splendor Pro. Stay tuned for Splendor Pro review in the section below.
