Honda CB Shine Features and Overview

The Honda CB Shine is a mid-segment commuter bike from Honda in India. The bike is powered by a fuel-efficient 125cc engine, and comes with optional features such as a front disc brake, electric start, and alloy wheels, with puncture resistant tubeless tyres offered as standard.

The Honda CB Shine delivers an average mileage of 72 kmpl. It is priced at Rs 47,514 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and is available in five colours, red, black, light grey, silver, and dark grey.

Targeted at the executive commuter segment, the CB Shine is styled conservatively, with clean lines and minimal graphics that would appeal to varied tastes. The bike offers the rider a typical commuter-style upright riding position, with wide handlebars and middle-set foot pegs, which minimises stress applied on the lower back and wrists, thereby improving comfort while riding for extended durations

The CB Shine is powered by a 124cc engine that produces 10.12 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 10.54 Nm torque @ 5500 rpm, and employs a 4-speed gearbox to transfer power to the rear wheel.

The CB Shine comes equipped with telescopic front forks and a pair of hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear end.

The CB Shine employs a 130mm drum brake at the front and rear wheels.

The Honda CB Shine is for those whose commute exceeds 50 kms a day, and includes occasional highway riding.

125cc bikes are very much in vogue in India, as they offer more comfort and performance than a 100cc bike, without much impact on fuel efficiency. We’ve got for the first time on our channel, two of the most popular 125cc motorcycles in the country, the Honda CB Shine and the Hero Glamour. We test them thoroughly to find out which one is better.
