The 2016 CB1000R is a streetfighter bike imported and sold in India by Honda. The CB1000R is based on the previous generation Fireblade, but with the engine tuned for low and mid-range torque. It is a naked superbike that is can be used for everyday commuting, touring, or even for riding on the race track.
The 2016 Honda CB1000R is priced at priced at Rs.11,81,756(ex-showroom Delhi) and is available in two colours Pearl Nightstar Black, Dragon Green Metallic.
The CB1000R looks every bit like a streetfighter should. It is one of the better looking naked superbikes around. Unlike it aggressive looks suggest, it has a relatively more relaxed riding posture than the other bikes in its class.
The Honda CB1000R is powered by an inline 4-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine with a displacement of 998cc. The unit outputs 123bhp of peak power and 100Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed gearbox channels the power to the rear wheel via chain drive.
The front suspension utilizes a 43mm dia. inverted HMAS cartridge-type telescopic fork with compression preload and rebound damping adjustment, and an equally-adjustable monoshock with gas charged damper at the rear.
The CB1000R comprises of twin 310mm hydraulic disc brakes at the front, and a single 250mm disc at the rear.
