The 2016 Hyosung GT250R is the latest sports bike to be launched in India by Hyosung. It employs a V-arrangement twin cylinder engine.
The 2016 Hyosung GT250R should deliver an average mileage of 35 kmpl in real-world conditions. It is priced at Rs.2,75,103(ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available in three colours Flaming Snow, Red Raven and Silver Fox.
Hyosung are looking to appeal to the younger generation with the Hyosung GT250R. A hunky and muscular exterior is matched by its powerful multi-cylinder engine. Its aerodynamic design of the front section assists in thoroughly enjoyable riding at high-speed. The large wheelbase also contributes to increased stability. As with most performance bikes, pillion riding is quite arduous for long commutes but is otherwise manageable.
The GT250R is powered by a 249cc V-Twin engine that is air-cooled and fuel-injected. It is capable of producing a peak power of 28bhp at 10,000rpm and 22Nm at 8500rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear via a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The front end comes with an upside down telescopic suspension system and the rear end uses a hydraulic monoshock suspension unit.
Twin disc brakes of 300mm diameter are employed on the front and a single disc brake of 230mm is used on the rear section.
The Hyosung GT250R is a bike for people looking to make fast commutes in and around the city, along with an occasional highway ride.
