Kawasaki Ninja 300 Features and Overview

The 2016 Ninja 300 is a performance bike sold in India by Kawasaki. Launched as a successor to the popular Ninja 250R, the Ninja 300 is powered by an all-new 296cc parallel twin-cylinder engine.

Under real-world conditions, the 2016 Ninja 300 should deliver an average mileage of 45 kmpl. It is priced at Rs.3,64,865(ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available in shades of Lime Green and Pearl Stardust White.

Kawasaki s Ninja 300 is one among the best-looking sport bikes out in the market, and is bound to win the hearts of people largely owing to its fierce and sporty design. As with most performance bikes, pillion riding is quite arduous for long commutes but otherwise manageable.

The Ninja 300 is powered by an all-new liquid cooled 296cc parallel twin-cylinder engine that outputs 39 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 29 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. Power is channelled to the rear wheel via a manual six-speed gearbox.

The front section of the bike employs a telescopic suspension unit with a travel of 120mm and the rear uses a UniTrack monoshock with 5 step adjustment and 130mm travel.

The front brake utilizes a 290mm petal disc and the rear brake utilizes a 220mm petal disc, which aid in fast and efficient braking performance.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is truly a beast in the performance category and although some people may have qualms with regard to its value, it is undeniably worth its price. It is best suited for people who want a powerful sport bike that can be used for both the daily commute and the long-distance road trip, with an occasional track day thrown in.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been around in India for quite some now. It used to be sitting pretty, with no rivals in sight, but now there are two contenders vying for its spot. Both of them are powerful, and more importantly, substantially cheaper than the Baby Ninja. Now, we ask the most important question of them all: with two strong alternatives around, does it still make sense to buy the Ninja 300. We rode in and around the city to find out! So, here’s wh ...
