The 2016 Kawasaki Z250 is a naked street bike from the stables of Kawasaki. The Z250 is based on the current Ninja 300, but employs a detuned version of the engine used in the erstwhile Ninja 250R. The Z250 is best suited for city rides and occasional long trips. Rivals include the KTM Duke 390, and the Benelli TNT 300.

The Kawasaki Z250 is powered by a 249cc liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine that develops 31.5 bhp and 21 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
