Kawasaki Z250 Features and Overview

The 2016 Kawasaki Z250 is a naked street bike from the stables of Kawasaki. The Z250 is based on the current Ninja 300, but employs a detuned version of the engine used in the erstwhile Ninja 250R. The Z250 is best suited for city rides and occasional long trips. Rivals include the KTM Duke 390, and the Benelli TNT 300.

The 2016 Kawasaki Z250 is priced at Rs.3,11,128(ex-showroom, Delhi), and is available in only one colour, Green. The bike delivers an average mileage figure of 30 kmpl.

The Kawasaki Z250 features sharp, muscular styling, which gives it a premium, big-bike look. The bike offers a sporty seating posture which feels quite comfortable, even during long stints of riding.

The Kawasaki Z250 is powered by a 249cc liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine that develops 31.5 bhp and 21 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.

The Kawasaki Z250 comes equipped with telescopic forks up front, and an adjustable monoshock at the rear. This set up is tuned to deliver a fine balance between ride comfort and dynamics.

The Kawasaki Z250 gets a single disc brake at the front, and a single disc at the rear. This setup offers excellent braking performance for both city and highway use.
