Mahindra Kine Features and Overview

The Mahindra Kine is an entry level automatic scooter from Mahindra. Powered by an air-cooled 72cc single-cylinder engine, the kine comes with features such as large underseat storage, wide seat, and body.

The Mahindra Kine delivers an average mileage of 57 kmpl. It is priced at Rs.33,760(ex-showroom, Delhi), and comes in a variety of colours, such as Racy Red, Funky Green, Groovy Lavender, and Midnight Black.

The Mahindra Kine employs a step-thru body style, which simplifies getting astride the seat and off it. The ergonomics offered is that of a typical scooter, with a feet-forward upright riding seating posture.

The Mahindra Kine is powered by a 71.5 cc air-cooled single cylinder engine that outputs 3.8 bhp @ 5500 rpm and 5 Nm torque @ 4500 rpm, and is mated to an automatic continuously variable transmission.

The Kine uses a trailing link suspension system at the front end, and a hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. A unique feature of the trailing link suspension system is its anti-dive effect. When the front brake is applied, the front end doesnt dive, thereby improving stability and control.

The Mahindra Kine comes fitted with 112mm drum brakes on the front and rear wheels.

Those looking for a scooter for commuting short distances (lesser than 30 kms per day) within the city, school students above 16 years of age, and those who are new to riding a motorized two wheeler, may opt for the Mahindra Kine.
