Royal Enfield Classic Desert Storm Features and Overview

The 2016 Royal Enfield Classic Desert Storm is one of the cruiser bikes from the Classic range of Royal Enfield. The bike s USP is its paint scheme it is painted in a matte-finish Sand Brown, intended to mimic desert sand. The bike is powered by a fuel-injected 500cc single cylinder engine, and is a complete retro-themed bike. Standard features for the Royal Enfield Classic Desert Storm include a front disc brake, electric start, and gas-charged shock absorbers.

The 2016 Royal Enfield Classic Desert Storm delivers an average mileage of 40 kmpl. The bike is priced at Rs.1,62,973(ex-showroom, Delhi), and is available only in Matt Sand Brown.

The Desert Storm employs typical cruiser design elements, accentuated by the long wheelbase and low seat height, both of which aid stability while riding at highway speeds. The foot pegs are set forward, and the handlebars are set slightly high and wide, so as to reduce strain on the rider when riding for long durations.
