The 2016 Vespa SXL 150 is the company's latest offering in the premium scooter segment. It features a redesigned front end incorporating a rectangular headlight, a new instrument cluster, and black powder-coated alloy wheels.
The 2016 Vespa SXL 150 mileage is about 66 kmpl. The scooter is available in White, Orange, Red and Matt Black. The Vespa SXL 150 price as of January 2016 is Rs.89,671 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Vespa SXL 150 is a sporty looking scooter. Its rectangular headlight offers a good break from the otherwise curvy lines, and injects a much needed shot of youthfulness in the retro design of the scooter. With respect to ergonomics, the S seats its rider in an upright posture, typical of most scooters. The seat isn't really large though. While there is sufficient space if you ride solo, riding two-up is slightly uncomfortable, made worse for the pillion by the improperly positioned rear foot pegs.
The Vespa SXL 150 is powered by a 3-valve 150cc carburated engine that outputs 11.4 bhp and 11.5 Nm of torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheel via a smooth CVT gearbox.
The Vespa SXL 150 employs trailing link suspension at the front and a hydraulic monoshock at the rear.
Helping the Vespa SXL 150 come to a quick stop are ventilated disc brakes at botht the front and rear review.
The Vespa SXL 150 is great for those who are looking to buy a sporty scooter, but want something that's looks and feels more exclusive than the rest. Stay tuned for the Vespa SXL 150 review.
