Yamaha FZ Fi Version 2.0 Features and Overview

The 2016 Yamaha FZ FI v2.0 is the Japanese company's first motorcycle to be fitted with Blue core technology. It is powered by a 149cc engine and uses fuel injection.

The 2016 Yamaha FZ FI v2.0's mileage is about 62.4 kmpl. The bike comes in two colours Scorching Red and Panther Black. The FZ FI V2.0 price as of February 2016 is Rs.76,250(ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Yamaha FZ FI v2.0 is a street bike with an aggressive appearance and fine detailing. It sports a muscular tank, split seats, split alloy grab rails, revamped headlight, extended mudguard and a nifty heat shield on the exhaust. The seating posture is that of a regular commuter with an upright riding position, well positioned handlebars and middle set foot-pegs.

The Yamaha FZ FI v2.0 puts to use a 149cc air cooled SOHC unit which produces 12.9 bhp at 8000 rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. The bike offers good pick up and acceleration thanks to the inclusion of a fuel injected system.The rear wheel receives power via a 5-speed gearbox.

The Yamaha FZ FI v2.0 features a telescopic fork suspension unit on the front end and is backed by a monoshock unit on the rear.The bike utilizes a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear part.

The Yamaha FZ Fi utilizes a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear part. A rear disc brake option is not available.
